Indonesia

I’m currently on the plane home and I am so sad to say that I got wicked lazy and so caught up with just being in Bali that I forgot to write!

Indonesia is seriously stunning, had the best time and fell inlove with you Asia!

This time travelling I really wanted to try something different and be in the moment 100% so I didn’t use my phone once. Didn’t care was on Facebook or what was happening back home because I was having the time of my life in Bali.

IT WAS THE BEST

Instead of being on the WiFi I was in the pool or at the markets, eating mangos or having a fish spa haha Didn’t even miss my phone once.

The only negative thing is my phone is also my camera so that means I didn’t personally take any photos. Sorry no Bali selfies coming haha
But since I’m with my family here, I’m sure I’ve got some good photos!

Random highlights of my trip-

I went to church in Bali, which was super cute. Indonesia isn’t a Christian country but you find it here for sure. Most people at Church were from other countries though haha typical. French, American and Australian. Only a few locals. But it was fun singing songs in Indonesian, what a beautiful (but really hard) language.

We went to these amazing temples on the coastline during sunset. I think is was called ‘Tanah Lot’ Breathtaking, and it was such a hot afternoon but also really humid. We weren’t there long until it started pouring down raining.

What a perfect moment. So happy being in the rain, looking around at our surroundings and falling inlove with life.

I am grateful person in everyday life but when I travel my gratitude for plant earths beauty hits a whole new level haha

#Sarahgetsdeep

haha get ready for this..

When you travel, you can’t help but have perfect new experiences where time just stops for a moment. Your soul connects with your mind and your heart and for that moment you are in pure happiness.

This is what I call magic.

Anyways I just got way off topic and way to deep, must be pretty inspired or really tired haha

I have had so many more amazing memoires from Bali like trying to surf and eating the most delicious food of my life but I’m so tired that I cant remember anything else right now, I’ll remember once I look at some photos hehe

Nap time x

I ♥ Bali

I am inlove with Bali.

I’ve had the best two days, lemme fill you a little

The place we are staying at is so beautiful, very open and white but has that Asian touch, like Buddha’s everywhere outside in the tropical garden. Love.

Yesterday was a pretty chilled out day since we here pretty late on Tuesday night. We just walked around town, shopped at the markets, bargained down from cheap to CHEAP hahaha
Bought a wicked dream catcher to add to the collection!

Got massages which were the meaning of perfection, haha kinda dramatic but 1 hour massage for $5.50 Aus whatttt? I love this place! Mate, I’m getting one on the daily haha

Today was seriously the best day of my life, like I don’t even think my own wedding day could beat today!

Started the day with a cooked breakfast, Bacon and eggs with tropical fruit.

Then we went to the Money Forest!

MONKEYS PEOPLE MONKEYS

Ahhhhh so cool, like such a dream!
You had to buy bananas and then you just held them above your head and the monkeys would just climb up your body to get the bananas!

Seriously the cutest thing of my life.

When the first one jumped on me, it kinda scared me hahaha since I don’t normally have monkeys climb on me.

I was the happiest girl is the world today, giggling my head off haha

The Monkey Forest was this beautiful green tropical forest but with old temple ruins through out it. So stunning even without the monkeys around but when you add the monkeys it’s actual happiness ♥ ♥

Disneyland got nothing on this.

After having the best moments of my life, it was time to have even better times!

Elephants.

Yep, Elephants

SO INLOVE haha I’m still freaking out guys! Such a beautiful animal. I went on the Elephant ride with my niece Chloë. I wasn’t sure who was more excited out of both of us? haha

Both Chloë and I got to ride the Elephants neck! The biggest smile on my face!!

Just to end this perfect day they bring out the orangatangs!
What a cheeky monkey!... Literally haha

Got the cutest kisses from it haha still can’t believe today happened

Who knew I loved animals so much?

Bali, you’re the greatest x

Asian loving

We’re on our way! I’m currently in the Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysia!

I already feel like I’ve had a few new Asian experiences! Already traveled 7 hours on air Asia, that it’s self was an experience lol

Nahhh it was fine, actually super exciting seeing these beautiful Asian flight attendants and eating my spicy green curry for breakfast on the plane hehe

So Bali is actually only a 5 hour flight from Adelaide but at the time when we booked our flights it was just cheaper to go via KL even though its seriously so out of the way… don’t really want to talk about it hahhaha Nahh it’s all goods, the things I do happily to save a few dollars

Plus don’t they say it’s about the journey?

Once we got here it was so humid and no order at all, haha we had to walk across the runway with this huge line from all these other flights, so cool/so different.

Also saw my first ladyboy, was pretty stoked to see one so soon. Welcome to Asia hey! But some of these ladyboys are actually so stunning.

Teach me

For lunch here at the airport we went a little crazy, tried all things Malaysian!

YUM YUM

All these different drinks and those sweet pork steam buns changed my life.

Worth coming to Malaysia just for them hahaha

Also pretty stoked to report that I’ve already used my first squatting toilet! Asia mate haha so proud.

Like since it’s an airport that heaps of westerns come to they had normal toilets as well but when I’m in Asia I shall do as the Asians do!!

You could say the trip is pretty good so far haha

Write more once I’m actually in Magical BALI x

Final Goodbyes

I also didn’t write anything at the time about my last night in my diary but it was such a bittersweet night.

Christy and Chelsea took me to the Devil wears Prada concert.
It was such a sick show.

During The Ghost inside set, the lead singer Jonathan (who I’ve met before mahehe) got super deep and was talking about dreams and how you never stop. That just got all of us crying!

I will miss these girls so much!!!! But I know that I will see them again! Always will be some of my best friends!

It’s the hardest part of living and travelling to other places, you become so close to the people you meet. But what amazing memoires I have here with these girls!

JUST THE BEST MEMORIES OF MY LIFE haha

After the concert in the car outside my house we just reminisced and I just cried haha

Christy being such a beautiful soul prayed at in the car thanking God for our friendship.

So sad think about this night ahhhh

LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM

I got home at like midnight and had to leave for the airport at 4:30am and I still hadn’t packed lol

I was so busy that week, just seeing everyone and I pretty much worked right to the end!

No regrets haha

ALL NIGHTER, but the saddest all nighter of my life

I packed my bags and just threw everything else out!

I love Canada so much, I know I say it all the time but I am grateful. Canada is seriously stunning and I could have had no friends here and still be happy! But living here with the people I’ve met has really made this place home.

Goodbye Canada, thanks for the goodtimes  x

Colorado here I come!!
